My practice embraces and enhances the handmade nature of darkroom photography, allowing grain, chemical marks, folds, and imperfections to remain visible as traces of the image’s creation. Through experimental analogue processes, including layered double exposures that condense entire days and experiences into a single frame, I explore the photograph not only as an image, but as a physical object shaped by touch, labour, memory, and time.
