Hands-on Experiences that Slow Teams Down and Brings them Together
In a world of screens, deadlines, and constant interruption, the darkroom creates a rare environment where teams naturally slow down and engage. Participants work with their hands, problem-solve together, and share a process that rewards patience and collaboration. If you're located in Melbourne, this is a unique experience which is as every bit different as the city we live and work in.
Key attributes of Corporate Darkroom Workshops are:
Screen-free and distraction-free
Collaborative without being forced
Structured, but creatively open
Calm, absorbing, and memorable
Corporate Team-Building in the Darkroom
What our Corporate Team-Building Session Looks Like
1. Welcome & Introduction
We begin with a short introduction to analogue photography and the darkroom process, including safety and orientation.
2. Hands-On Printing
Participants work in pairs or small groups, learning how to expose and develop black & white photographic prints.
3. Guided Collaboration
Teams naturally assist one another as prints evolve. Decisions around exposure, contrast, and timing encourage discussion and shared problem-solving.
4. Finished Prints
Each participant leaves with a finished black & white photographic print, with options to frame and advice on how to display or hang the artwork in your workplace.
